Mindfullness Resources

According to Mindful.org, mindfulness is defined as:

"Mindfulness is the basic human ability to be fully present, aware of where we are and what we’re doing, and not overly reactive or overwhelmed by what’s going on around us."

Mindfulness is well researched and proven to help with anxiety, mood, stress, and other challenges.

Everyone has the ability to be mindful, and the more you practice mindfulness the easier it becomes. Many people picture mindfulness as sitting down cross legged with your eyes closed. That is not the only way. Mindfulness can be practiced in a few minutes while walking, laying down, doing dishes, eating, showering, doing yoga, running, biking, hiking… Find a way that works for you.

Here is a little video that talks about the benefits of practicing mindfulness and changing your relationship with your thoughts:

Below, you fill find additional resources to help you along your journey to learn and practice Mindfulness, and to support you during tough moments.
